Another outstanding run of dairy cattle today .Top cows 3450 ,2600 Jonas Fisher ,South Wayne . 19 cows 2400to 3050 Travis Oberholtzer, Neillsville.2600,2550,2450,2450,2400 Jim Bunkleman,Athens.2400 Mitch Lindner,Loyal .Many other cows 1800 to 2350.Some lightweight bredback cows 1200 to 1600.

Holstein springing hfrs 2200 to 2550.Shortbreds 1800 to 2175.Open hfrs mostly 1.85 to 2.16/lb . Single birth Holstein hfr calves 425 to 460.Holstein Breeding bulls 1200 to 1700.Minimal test on feeder cattle.One nice group of 726 lb Holstein strs with no shots brought 1.82.

Calves across the board  trending lower. Beef cross calves mostly 730-845. Top 890.Holstein bull calves 480-585.Top 610.

Market cows continue steady with the bulk of cows selling 1.08-1.28 with a top of 132.50 . Organic market cows 1.59- 165.50 .

Hay sold sharply higher today .Sraw sold mostly steady .3×4 western alfalfa 185-265  / bale 3×3 dairy quality alfalfa 120-140. 3×3 squares  2nd and 3rd crop 110-125 . 1st crop grass rounds and squares90 – 110 .3×4 Wheat  straw 85.3×3 barley and wheat straw  55-62.50.
