Another record run with 632 head consigned and over 400 fat cattle. Holstein bull calves sold mostly 275-350 with several top calves 400-430. Angus cross bull and heifer calves mostly 450-575 with top of 660.
Beef fed steers and heifers were mostly 164-171. Top steer consigned by Ben Massman 1490 lbs @ 173.50. Several more singles 172-173 with a group of 15 heifers 1392 lbs @ 172 consigned by Marcus Fox, Greenwood. Angus X Hol steers and heifers were mostly 159-164 with 12 head 1308 lbs @ 165 consigned by Dennis Martin, Thorp. Choice and prime Holsteins 142 to 156 with a top of 158 @ 1620 lbs consigned by Donald Rudolph, Athens. 8 big Holstein steers weighing 1951 sold for 1.45. Market cows sold steady with average cows selling from 67-82 and good fat cows 88- 1.07.
