Top 2600, Leland Zimmerman, Curtis. 2500, 2500, 2000, 2000 consignment. 2450 Ferdi Seeuws, Sheldon. 2350 Cary Moser, Westby. 2300 Marlin Weaver, Unity. 2200 Clair Weaver, Edgar. 2100 Marcus Hurst, Owen. Many good cows 1200- 1700. Blemished cows discounted sharply.

Medium quality springing heifers 850- 1200. Open heifers 55- .80 cents per pound. Single birth heifer calves 20- 65 per head.

Holstein breeding bulls 1000- 1325. Top was a polled red and white bull 905 pounds $1525 Luke Luchterhand, Granton. Market bulls 73- 75.

Very strong fat cattle market today!! 76% of choice and prime Holstein steers and heifers sold 94.25- 99.50. Beef steers 1.03- 1.05. Holstein feeder steers 80- 100. Beef feeder heifers up to 1.38. Holstein bull calves mostly 50- 110 per head.

Market cows higher. 25% sold 55- 62. 50% sold 46- 54.50.

Hay steady to stronger. First crop round bales grass 35- 55. Rounds and squares baleage 40- 55. 3rd crop mixed hay rounds and squares up to 75 per bale. Feed grade Canadian wheat straw 40/bale. Rounds beanstalks 15- 20. Corn stalks 20- 25. Firewood $75 per load.
